I'm still without - just past 72 hours now. Good thing the generator is holding it's own.

Was just over at my neighbors house - they left for Michigan last Thursday. I must have tossed out over $1000 in food from their two freezers.

On a good note for them - one of their huge tall oak trees got destroyed but just missed the house, shed and deck.

I always wonder how they held out in hot weather back in the days before air conditioners, like during the Dust Bowl of the Great Depression years. Here's a little perspective:

Looked like 1934 to 1936 were hell....
