Went to check it out & I admit its quite sad. So many ad's (as expected), different layout (as expected), no reason for me to ever go there again (as expected). Not bashing them, just my opinion as I see it.

Our intent here at Cigar Asylum was never to be the biggest cigar forum in town. We just know & will never forget that a cigar forum is only as good as its members, and we have some of the very best here.

I agree, I like this place more than I ever liked CS, and that is saying a lot. Thanks again 11 for setting this up.

I am thinking some of the "kool-aid" crew may now be having second thoughts. Ads all over, forum does not retain the look and feel, or name of CS, lots of activity when just looking at a page.

I've never been one to complain much about anything on the innerweb, but that is pretty bad. Pretty bad indeed.

terrible format as others have mentioned. The white hurts your eyes, the ads are all over the freaking place. It looks and feels like a sterile environment.

I was banned on CS when my site supporter status expired and I got an email requesting to renew my status

Just tough on many of us to see what could have been classified as a "humble" home turn into a conglomerate.
I just read a post there from Jon where he is responding to the "site supporter" question by saying that will remain in place. I think I have better things to do with that money than to fuel an individual's business venture.

I agree. I can't even check my Pm's without a video playing on the screen. Now if my pass will just wrap up over there ...
