Video chat questions
Have gotten my wife a new Logitech QuickCam Chat camera.
She'd like to be able to chat live - face to face - with her family. Are there some free places to go to do that? Thanks for the help? Oh, while we're at it, is there are group here that does that somewhere?

Re: Video chat questions
If you sign up for Gmail (google's free email service) there is a chat function that comes with it that includes video chat capabilities.
Both parties need to be on Gmail for it to work.

Re: Video chat questions
Stickam.com is a free video broadcasting service, although it has a lot of lag.
Skype has a video feature and is free between SKype users, but the video is only enabled in one-on-one calls, not on conference calls. There is a CA Late Night Skype group that talks over skype everynight. If you decide to go that route, just make sure to tell me or someone else you know on skype, and we can help you out.
