Tampa Sweethearts No. 500
This smoke came coastietech (Joe) as a part of our NST. It was in my house about 5 minutes before I was ready to give it a whirl. I think it was the size and color that made me want to smoke it.
The wrapper is a gorgeous dark maduro. I used my v-cutter on this and the pre-light draw was very loose. Once I lit it up the draw became a bit tighter and was now quite nice. The first thing I noticed was tons of smoke coming from the draw. The smoke color off the end of the cigar was white, while the exhaled smoke was a dark grey. This smoke can be broken down into halves. The first 1/2 was a nice earthy flavor. The second 1/2 turned to a light leather flavor. I was really enjoying the mounds of smoke flowing from this little cigar. This was an enjoyable smoke. I took it down to the nub. I hope to be able to find more of these. I would call this a mild smoke.

These are some of my favorite bundle smokes... LHO III's are great too. I sent you one of those as well.
I personally think that aside from looks the Tampa Sweethearts smoke better than some of the $8-10 smokes I've had. I'm glad you liked it and thank you for the review. |

Nice review. I seen someone post these up as a yard gar and the price does grant that. I may get in on some of these.
I was reading on the the ( tampasweethearts.com ) and these cigars are rolled by apprentice cigar makers. So their availability can be unstable as a stocked item. They are only rolled when they have apprentice cigar makers. |
