In that case...basic houseware items (dishes, pots and pans, etc), clothes...since you will be grabbing an apartment...you're gonna need some furniture (some places rent fully furnished apts). Electronics are cheap there, so don't sweat bringing all your good stuff (plus they might break it in shipping). Can pick up a "hoopty"/beater car for like $ 300. Korean BBQ is the shiznit!!

Camp Humphyrey's wasn't too bad the one time I got to visit.

I once tied on a doozy of a drunk there, but aside from that it was good. Have you been to the ROK before?
