Off to the Hawks game soon. Sorry, Mike, going with the TC jersey for sentimental reasons.
Thomas made a statement that was rather anti-Obama. Mass is a "blue state" so to speak, where the overwhelming majority voted for him in 2008. Not surprising that it didn't go over so well around there.

BTW, Wings are first in the NHL with 67 points and 33 wins. Overall I think they're doing rather well. Ian White was a good pickup with the retirement of Rafalski. Not an easy guy to replace. They need to tighten up on the defensive turnovers, especially in their own zone. Also, while White is playing pretty well, I still see some plays that shows me he's not quite 100% comfortable in the offense or with the players around him. Half way through his first season here I kind of expect that. Hopefully that won't be an issue come playoff time.

Go Wings!

!
Can you provide proof of this. The only thing I saw was his facebook post where he tried to appear nuetral. He bagged on both sides dem and repub. While I have little doubt he is a conservative I dont think your statement is accurate.

Wings are killing it for sure. Sure the Sharks are kicking themselves over White. I liked him last year and was suprised they didnt try to keep him.

I am so glad the All Star break is here. The B's are playing like crap.

Let's hope the break helps.

I'm thinking some trades in the defensive categories are going to be coming up pretty soon for our Hawks. And I'm a fan of Crawford, but his numbers this year aren't so great. I know it's got a lot to do with the 5 guys in front of him but still.

Here's the Thomas quote verbatim:

http://content.usatoday.com/communit...-celebration/1
"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.
This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.

Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.

This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT
So as not to violate the terms of CA concerning politics I'll let you draw your own conclusions. Obviously I've already given my interpretation.
