Mini-contest-threadhack-

My winter league team starts thursday night- you get to pick how many wins we will have out of 6 games from Jan-Feb. Pick the correct amount of wins- win 5 cigars. tie breaker will be how many goals are scored against us for the season.

Full disclosure: my team "should" be better than we were in the Fall.

First update:

Gunners go up 1-0 at half. An inspired 45 min of football, defense tight, moving the ball well, midfield supporting strikers.
Second half: not so much. Gunners lose 3-1.

Note it will be 25 degrees at game time- on a wet field. ugh.

so for the first time in my life I've been cut from a team... the captain from my old squad sent me the email the other day. something about trimming down the roster... I cry.

I've emailed most all the other captains in the leagues, all 4 divisons and have gotten the same shtick "we're pretty full but we'll keep you in mind" so I'll just be getting fatter...

Liverpool is better than Man U.
