Assuming it doesn't have a glass top, turn on a flashlight, drop the light in and close the lid. In a dark room you shouldn't be able to see any light around the seal (or anywhere else for that matter).
While not seeing any light doesn't guarantee you won't have some leakage, if you do see light, ya got problems. |
