French Onion Soup

Thank you, this is one of my favorite soups! Found a recipe from Alton Brown awhile back but never made it.

Ive tried Altons and didnt care for it (first time that happened). This one I kinda threw together last minute on New Years day so my mom would have to cook. Everybodys bowls were licked clean!
