why not place them side by side? If they read the same, then temp difference in the other location is due to environment. If they read different when they are side by side, then it has to do with the humidor itself or its set-up.

Definitely contact Bob. There is always the chance that there is some wood still curing that may be causing the problem or some other issue related to the humidor. Also, the humidification units may be overheating and need to be replaced.
I'd also place temp gauges next to each humidor. If the ambient next to each is the same, then there isn't any extra environmental heat to transfer to the cabinet.
