That is pretty hardcore. I had heard about it going on but I didn't realize it had grown to such a magnitude. It's so 18th century sounding.

What's next? Setting up privateers to go in and fight with the pirates? Well, that's not quite right, privateers were set up to attack other nations ships not the other pirates. One man's privateer was another man's pirate.

Hrrmm. Not really sure how you fix that.
