I used to light cigars just by touching them to flame, and drawing in. Not unlike a cigarette... In some scenarios I still do this. I've found that this type of lighting method almost always creates an uneven burn.
I take my time and make sure I've got an even burn on my cigar now, before ever drawing in any smoke. Takes quite a bit more time but I think it's worth the effort. It helps me "slow down" a bit too. |
