That's actually really cool they provide that info. I can't say I've seen another place that does that.

Possibly "medium filler" is actually "mixed filler". Otherwise I totally agree with the definitions.

Mixed and Short filler are basically the same, small pieces of leaf including stem pieces.
Medium filler is a term used by some manufacturers to describe short filler without the stem bits. Often these are trimmings from premium tobacco leftover from the manufacturing process. Private Stock Medium Filler is a cigar from Tabadom that uses trimmings from much more expensive cigars made in the same factory. According to them anyway. Fuente Curly Heads are discribed as medium filler leftover from their premium production.

Mixed filler is a combo of long and short filler and short is, well, just short fill so they are nowhere near the same.

Ehhhh, maybe not in that particular way. But many catalogs, hard or virtual, have descriptions stating, e.g., "Handmade in Hondouras", and also advise you if they are mixed filler, such as with AF Curly Tails. Also, the Machine Made smokes are normally listed seperately.

Furthermore, note that "handmade" has various meanings too. One completely handmade is selected, bunched, bound, and wrapped by hand. Yet it is "legal" to machine-bunch the tobacco and merely finish it by hand, and still call it "made by hand".
