12 1/2 weeks along... Baby is well. Started genetic testing today. Which included a long ultrasound and a finger prick blood test.

The baby's heartbeat was strong and steady at 164 beats per minute. Baby was moving around a lot and being difficult to get the pictures the tech needed. However, the baby did have a hiccuping fit and then waved at me!

At one point baby decided to flip over and looked like they were going to start swimming. It was really good to see the baby and exciting.

Thanks again for all the good thoughts and prayers!

I hit 20 weeks along today. Wednesday we found out the baby is a BOY!

I am on bedrest since I had to have an Amnio. So ultrasound pics will be later.

He is THRILLED for a little brother!

Tom, I am happy either way. As long as this little one is healthy, that is all that matters. Hence the amnio.
