It was slow pitch softball and my batting was weak. I had the bad habit of getting anxious seeing the ball hang in the air so long, I would swing too early.

I had fun trying out though and would like to practice and try again next year.

Keep your chin down. If you can't, put your shirt in your mouth so it holds it down. You'll look stupid for awhile, but you'll get over it when you're running bases.
