It seems unlikely that Boston can take the AL East at this point, and in fact are more likely to lose out of the playoffs entirely than the former. So, do you bite the bullet and root root root for the hated Yankees, or does your detestation seep so deeply you'd sooner cut your noses off to spite your face?

If the Red Sox aren't playing, there is no baseball, for me at least. I don't root for other teams, anymore than I would switch my allegiance to another country. I am a complete baseball partisan. I love the Sox, all other teams...well, you know.
