Just timed myself at my desk, I got 1:14. Not bad for a out of shape cigarette smoker. I used a technique for free diving where you take 3 quick deep breaths like you are hyperventilating and on the 4th you hold it. I have also been working on breath control as I scuba dive about 5 to 6 times a week.
