Had a Hoyo du Roi from my Secret Santa - just kept getting better, so I nubbed it.

After a homemade dinner of duck a l'orange, a 2000 Hoyo des Dieux and a Parti Short.

Had a lovely 601 hand rolled for desert tonight. Full flavor with an easy light and a full tight white ash all the way to the nub. The flavor just kept getting better and better and stronger. Went for a walk with the stick to the end of the block and in the heavy winds it burned straight and full circle. The flavor was strong but easy on the draw. The taste was strong but not harsh with a hint of sweetness that I could not find a matching describtion for. A special thanks to Sailkat for picking up the sticks for me
