Probably my all time fave was a 33 y.o. Springbank. Second on the list would be a 27 y.o. Tamnvulin-Glenlivet single barrel that I still have.

I've only tried a few single malts so far, but the winner by a large margin is Laphroaig 10 year.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label is my favorite, but way too expensive for regular consumption. The Scotch I drink most often is The GlenLivet.

I really like Lagavulin 16, but recently Glenrothes 1991 has hit the spot.

I really like Obans. I had the pleasure of tasting a 100 year bottle. It was amazing.
My girlfriend just bought me a Macallan Fine Oak 15 year bottle for my birthday. I really like Macallans. It is a very nice beverage. |

I always hated Scotch until a friend at work got me a bottle of Glenfiddich 12. I loved it. Lots to try here, thanks to all for the recommendations!

Wow! I had a waiter at Bern's Steak House in Tampa suggest the 33 yr old Springbank to me about 15 yrs ago. It was $50 an ounce, but still remains the best single malt I've tried. For the record, it was a corporate spiff trip, & I didn't pay for it personally...thank God. LOL
