Well, I made it out of A-stan. I'm in a holding pattern until I can get a flight back to the states. I'm stuck in a Former Soviet Union country that we're not supposed to broadcast our presence in, so I won't.

But it does feel a little weird, like a Soviet base in Tuscon, AZ would.

Good thing we won the Cold War!

Should be back in the states in a few days.

??? As far as I know, nobody won the cold war. And if you really want to name a winner, then I would call the people in the former communist countries the winners, they gained a lot of freedom with the fall of the communist leaders.

Still stuck here in the unnamed FSU country. It is freakin' cold. When I think about how far south we are from Siberia, I can't imagine how cold it must be there.
