Casa magna colorado salomon
This 6½x56 Casa Magna Colorado salomon is the latest addition to the Casa Magna Colorado series. It is not available in The Netherlands yet, but I expect that that will change soon enough so all my fellow countrymen can smoke this beautiful shaped cigar.
Like I said, the cigar is beautifully shaped. but the dark and oily wrapper does have some veins. I smell a mild barnyard. The construction feels good. The predraw is fine and I taste raisin with a white pepper aftertaste. I taste an earthy flavor with some wood, herbs and a peppery aftertaste. The feeling in my mouth is dry. After a quarter of an inch I taste wood and herbs with a little bit of sigar. After half an inch I also taste some chocolate on the background. The cigar slowly becomes peppery. After an inch I taste leather and earth with some wood and herbs. The aftertaste is peppery. Some puffs later I mainly taste wood with some chocolate and herbs. The aftertaste is still peppery. Halfway I taste wood, nutmeg, herbs and a metallic flavor, all very nice. After two thirds I taste wood with herbs, the herbs are mild fresh and I get pepper in the aftertaste. This cigar lasted me an hour and forty-five minutes. The draw is great and the burn is ok. The smoke starts out poor but gets better along the way, slowly it gets thick and white. The peper and salt colored ash is firm. This cigar is full flavored and medium to full bodied. Would I buy this cigar again? Yes, I liked it.
