Waxing Moon Humidor Thread

This (unclaimed) one isn't done yet... but I just had to show the wood.... This is Ambrosia Maple & Curly Walnut.... I'm calling it "The Storm".....

I like the knot on the left side.... it looks like a bullet and then the curl on the walnut looks like the shock waves.... I've had that piece of wood laying around the shop for a couple years.... knowing it would look good with something.... Whatcha Think?

You can see where I silicone sealed the seams to keep the front "accessory" compartment from leaking out the humidity...

Gotta love the lid!

This thing is coming along.... Just need to build the drawers and sand, sand and sand some more... and apply the finish..... also, need to get a little bit of hardware..... But, she's tight and coming along as planned!

When I saw the design of the humidor I knew it was going to be amazing. That things more impressive than I could have every imagined. I cannot wait to see the final product. I am totally jealous OldDirty. I’ll have to add a Waxing Moon Humidor to my long wish list!

Thanks! I first was contemplating getting a Montecristo 75th anniversary humidor but when I saw Ed's design of the prototype I was put back on how nice it was. We talked abit and I went ahead and ordered one. He sure is doing a good job building it
