AVO Domaine 10, found in the bottom of a humidor. Must have been part of a sampler a while back. Not too bad, better than I expected. Didn't have that mushroom taste I associate with AVO's (perhaps due to the time in the humidor). Went well with some leftover champagne I found in the refrigerator.

Still Watching My Back

Absolutely beautiful day, so I spent most of it outdoors enjoying an array of Kansas City's Boulevard beers and one LP T9, one Graycliff Edicion Limitada 2010( a pleasant surprise I might add) and one Viaje Summerfest. Along with the great smokes and great beer, was all the arse I was kicking in dominoes!

Feeling at Home

Nica Libre diplomatico while working in the garden. This cigar is really a great value and burns well which is important for a yard gar.
Partagas Black gigante on the deck - first try on this one. Doesn't measure up to the spanish rosado for me but a good smoke.

Nub Cameroon just to see if these Nubs actually do what they're marketed to do. Pretty good so far. Especially since I only paid ~$4 for it. I love my employee discount

CAO Brazilia. Short length, huge rg. I'm a huge fan of the brazilia line. I was going to try a QdO corona cc, but it's kind of windy and I'm cooking, so I wanted something I didn't have to concentrate on.

Tried a La Pearla Maduro that was a handful of years old. Found it at a B&M that the cello was pretty yellowed. It was pretty bad, won't buy it again.
Then I had a "custom rolled" local cigar. It had some perique (pipe tobacco) in it and was pretty darn good. Deffinately going to get a few more of these. Last night a Dirty Rat |

It's been a Sosa kinda day evening.
My first cigar this evening was a 4 year old Sosa MADURO Pyrimide #2. I'm currently on my second cigar which is a 9 year old Sosa Churchill. Both have been absolutely amazing! |
