I had the previous KitchenAid model that that one replaced. It lasted me for over ten years - somewhere around 12/13 years I would guess. It was a great grinder for me - doing 5 to 7 pots a day, damn near everyday.

Now I don't do espresso so can't say there - but if it's built anything like the previous model it should be a good machine.

I did look at those - but Santa is bringing me a Baratza which is in the same price range that I want to try.
