So what's new? muslim terrorists have yet another excuse to murder innocent people?
If we don't kill him, he sits around for years ordering new attacks. If we do kill him, his followers want revenge and order new attacks. If we take him prisoner, other muslim terrorists use that as an excuse to kill innocent people.

It sounds like a no win scenario, but it's not. They know we got him, they also know that his own people gave us the info that led to him. They also know that we will go anywhere, anytime to get them and there is no 'Put your hands up, you're under arrest' mentality when it comes to people like themselves.

If anything, they are scared. They will look at each other now and wonder if anyone can be trusted.

There will be a new offensive against america, no doubt about that, the actions today just help start a new generation of terrorists.

I dont think osama was in command anymore, a ageing man in a bunker with no comms who relied on a paperboy who probably gave him up in the end.
Al-Qaeda is an idea, not a structured organisation so in operational terms I doubt his death will have much of an effect

Sorry to cut the quote down so far, but I agree with a lot of this. Obviously it's a damned if you do sitcho,
but they would be smart to shut up and sit down. Putting their stupid heads up now is just gonna get em
a ringside seat to the next burial at sea. One can only hope.

As for Irish' prediction of a new generation of terrorists, I am not so sure. Sure, there is always that chance,
but I think the youth would be wise to get on this new "Let's take our country back" bandwagon that seems to be
spreading through the region like Arab-AIDS. This might be the perfect thing at the perfect time, and I am not so
sure that this is not taking place at a time and place of the administration in Washinton's choosing, within operational
reason.
