Personally I would try to minimize cigars going from one temperature extreme to another, so if it was me, I would take them inside.

Thanks Kelly. That's what I have been doing all these years just cuz I didn't know for sure. Now I do.

Can you imagine what it would be like lighting a cigar that had an internal temperature of 20F? I can only imagine it would be like trying to light the end of a popsicle.
