For me, an Opus needs to sit for at least a few years to mellow out and let some of the flavors come forward. They're a meaty smoke when young.
The DC, on the other hand, only needs enough time to get acclimated to my humidor. In truth, it's been a while since I've had either. Maybe I need to remedy that. ![]() |

The Don Carlos Senior I tried from Moki remains one of the best cigars I have ever smoked.
Although I'll probably not get another anytime soon, I prefer the regular production DC over Opus any day.
