I could have done that, yes they get the IRS to settle on some of your debts. But I made the mistake, so I paid the full price, not trying to get out of anything.

When they originally audited me they said I owed them $47000. But after I provided them all the documentation they needed it was about 1/10th of that. It was totally my fault, dumb mistake. You live and you learn.
