V Maduros and the Masterblend Series are great Oliva sticks. Blue cloth or paper bands if you can find them.

I like Oliva...not one of my favorite brands but they do make good stuff. I like the G and V series. Also don't forget that Oliva also makes Nub and Cain. I love the Cain F's...very strong cigars with a nice flavor to them.

Now, on to your question. For Oliva, just as for any other cigar, you need to find what you like and smoke them. There may be no Oliva you like. Personally, I cannot get enough of the Vs. I also enjoy the Connecticut reserves, although I think I'm an odd duck on that. I am not a big fan of the Gs, and I only enjoy a few Os.
Peace of the Lord be with you.

In my opinion they are the best brand from top to bottom. I like V's, Masterblends, Conneticut Reserves and Cain F's. O's and G's are great cigars for occasional cigar smokers as well.

i have heard good things about the master blend, but i have yet to try it. The Oliva Red/Blue band cigars are great for the money...20 cigars for $35, or something like that.
I like the Georges Reserve from Famous Cigars. Good flavor and construction. They run deals on them from time to time. |

I had G series which I did not care for, but my distaste may have been exaggerated. because of the temperature. Long story short: didn't like it much, but would be willing to try another.
