I only used to save the "important" ones. About 3 months ago, my wife cleaned out my cigar stuff pile and came up with enough bands to fill a small vase. Well, two vases later and I've got a pretty cool display of cigar bands on my cocktail table.

Glad she asked me to start saving them.

I save most of mine, but I don't really know why I save them yet. For now they are just in a couple of ziplocks in a drawer.

Save them and do little projects with them. You can even go to an arts and crafts store and buy a huge glass vase and have fun filling it up!

Here's what I started doing with my bands....this was my before pic, havent taken the after yet because Im not done...maybe tonight ill post an update, Ive added at least 70 bands to it.

Once this end table is plastered with bands, I plan on using about 10 coats of polly to protect it. Then is back into the garage to hold my ash trays.

I keep all my bands in a Crown Royal bag. I have no idea why I keep them but I can't stop

Keep all of mine and have a project in mind that I now have enough bands to tackle. Hoping to have it done by early next year. Need money for the holidays before I can think about a new project like this.

I plan on doing the same thing! I may do a coffee table size or maybe 2 end tables depending on what furniture I put in my lounge. Great minds stink alike.

You mean you are suppose to take them off the cigar? I thought the band was there to show you where the "sweet spot" begins.

Tech-ninja made a poker table with a rail of cigar bands. If you ask, he may post picture of it. It is a beautiful table. He did some great craftsmanship.
