No, I was never actually cool enough to own PF Flyers. The first pair of "cool" sneakers I ever owned was a pair of blue Puma 'Clydes' that I bought with my own money. When you sweat in them the die ran onto your socks and feet, and turned them blue.

Dood, I had low top electric blue puma's with florescent yellow crap on the sides. They were the most badass shoes I ever owned. They're solely responsible for my sneaker problem, er, ah, fetish, er, umm, collection. Yeah, that's it.

I'm not sure that cool and P.F. Flyers belong in the same sentence. Cool for us started with having a pair of Chucks in junior high school.
