Hey, we could name 'em all day long: Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Howlin' Wolf, Sonny Terry & Brownie McGee, Taj Mahal, Charlie Musselwhite, Koko Taylor . . . and that's not even a good start.


But if you like your blues hot and electric, it's hard to beat that whitest of white men, Johnny Winter.

I saw him in 1974 at the felt forum in Madison square garden and he was awesome. Still alive and Well!!!!

Great player. Awful singer. It was too bad he couldn't have kept rick derringer and edgar in his band. They might have owned electric blues.
