Liga Privada t52 toro
I love Liga Privada, I said that many times before and I will keep saying it as long as the cigars are this good. I smoked some T52's in the recent past as they just became available on the Dutch market. I smoked the robusto and the belicoso. I have ordered a box of Dirty Rats and a box of Flying Pigs, those will be reviewed too once I receive them. I smoked the toro for a review today. The price tag of this cigar is € 11.00 in The Netherlands.
This 6 x 52 cigar looks great with its dark and oily wrapper. I see a few thin veins and smell a floral aroma. The construction feels good and the predraw is a bit tight, but not too tight to complain. I get a spicy flavor from the predraw. I taste spicy coffee with earth, some chocolate and a mild pepper. The coffee disappears after half an inch. I taste spicy wood with earth and chocolate. The feeling in my mouth is dry. The wood slowly becomes the main flavor. Halfway I get more chocolate, dark chocolate. After two thirds I taste more herbs and all flavors get stronger. Near the end I also taste white pepper. This cigar is a slow burner due to the thick wrapper. This 6 inch cigar lasted me two hours and twenty five minutes. I got a good amount of smoke, which started out thin but got thicker along the way. The draw is great and the burn is good. The as is dark, frayed and not firm. This cigar is full flavored and full bodied. Would I buy this cigar again? I liked the belicoso and robusto better Appearance: 8 / 10 Construction: 7 / 10 Draw: 8 / 10 Burn: 7 / 10 Smoke & ash: 7 / 10 Aroma first part: 8 / 10 Aroma second part: 8 / 10 Aroma third part: 7 / 10
