Personally, I think there are worse things that can kill an individual...after finishing my recent deployment, I thought about this for some time.... I think people lose sight of the bigger picture...just my 2 cents..

Not to sound insensitive to those who have suffered, but how many people don't die every year from second hand smoke?

Ok, so if 600,000 people are dying from second hand smoke shouldn't the amount of people dying from 1st hand smoke be 10 fold. I've always had a hard time buying these numbers. Do they account for polution, family history, or personal health?

Well today in the news, random person gets hit by a car and dies. Mind you they person was not useing the crosswalk, bc someone was smokeing while walking on the crosswalk. Driver 0. 2nd HAND SMOKE +1.

Those were my thoughts exactly. We all know the "research" is probably government funded. So during the next congressional session a new tax will placed on tobacco due to "overwhelming" research in regards to how dangerous tobacco really is!!!
