Dinner with Rocky Patel!
So I'm new here, and I have been lurking a bit. I figure I can contribute a bit though with this. I attended a Dinner with Rocky Patel. I can tell you that it was a class act all the way. I got to talk with Rocky and try a lot of cigars he brought along to give out. I was a good night, I recommend that If you get a chance to go, do it! The evening started out with the bar open, and appitisers being passed around. Everyone was greeted at there seat with a sampler box of different RP toros. The sampler had 1 sun grown, a old world corojo, and old world maduro. Theres a edge in corojo and maduro and one Renaissance.
Everything was amazing. And after an hour of people talking and RP getting pictures and signing Boxes, We all had a dinner of Filet and Chilean sea bass. It was to die for. Finally RP did a speech, and although he did his obligatory sales pitch lol, he spent most the night encouraging everyone to start standing up for there rights. He asked everyone to join the CRA and in a sudden twist of events, the owner of the venue, known as " jungle Jim" paid all the membership fees for everyone in attendance! Afterward there was a raffle where many boxes of RP's were givin away, as well as Lighters, and other fiddily-Bits. Good times... seems everyone at our table won big at the raffle! It was a good night of good people and good smokes! Again this was a class act. Hope you all enjoy! Me and Rocky Patel. |

The dinner cost $100. That included the appetizers, main course, dessert, wine, a drink ticket, a 5 pack of cigars, and some raffle tickets.

"jungle jim" is a stand up kind of guy! Always giving back and huge into supporting Cigars... started one of the first "cigar tastings" in the city and welcomes everyone with open arms every week! Shame I missed both the awesome events in Ohio last night.... stupid work!
