Colin, when I did a search for this in the app store, it's coming up as a purchase now instead of already installed. Does that mean that everyone will have to repurchase the app to get updates, or when I hit the purchase button am I gonna get the "you have already purchased this app" dialogue?

Apple doesn't permit transfers of ownership through the app store so Ken's version had to be removed and then I had to submit the same version for approval under my account. I am still working with Apple to see how and if current holders of the app can upgrade without buying it again. Regardless, the app will continue to work with its current level of features. Updates to the database will work on the current version even if people don't upgrade.
So I'm working on it. But since it isn't an issue until there is an upgrade I am focusing more on the upgrade. I'll make sure to post something to CA as soon as I know what the solution will be. |
