Re: Origin of User Names?
Mine is a reference to The Tick. In one of the comic books, the Tick is stalking another superhero (a parody of Superman) and trying to get him to be his sidekick. He gets a job with him at the 'Weekly World Planet' newspaper as the crossword puzzle editor, but is fired because the crossword puzzle he creates has only two words: 'fhrblig' and 'Pabst'.

Re: Origin of User Names?
My CB "handle" from way back in the early 1970's was "Cowboy Kid" When I first started on the WWW via AOL, CowboyKid was already taken. my town's name is often abbreviated as S'ville, so, I took SvilleKid, since my CB handle wasn't available.

mithril is from Lord of the Rings, G60 is the engine in the VW Corrado I used to own. Usually I just use mithril but when it's taken I append G60 to the end.

Re: Origin of User Names?
It was either Lucky Hippo or SomefatguywithanIrishnamewholikestotalkaboutcigars online, but I didn't think the second name really went with my avatar.

SkullnRose I started using this on aol way back in 94-95 when your screen name could only have 10 letters. It refers to my favorite band The Grateful Dead.

Re: Origin of User Names?
I was looking for an email and username along time ago and at the time was reading about how nothing in life is really ours we just use it (kinda like leasing). So leasingthisspace was born.

Re: Origin of User Names?
Many years ago, I had to choose a user name for an on-line gaming clan. Keyser Soze was the "mystery" badass in the movie The Usual Suspects--no one really knew who he was. Kinda like me being on the internet. So I changed the spelling and voila. Just got lazy and used it for alot of my on-line accounts.

Re: Origin of User Names?
First cigar I ever had made me turn blue in the face.
OK, not really where it came from. My user name is as result of one of my favorite saltwater fish in my tank. The Blueface Angel.

Re: Origin of User Names?
Mine was chosen because it was a game I really enjoyed and played quite often. That was back many years ago when I first joined ASC and ICG cigar message boards. I still play poker every weekend to this day.

Re: Origin of User Names?
Nickname I acquired years ago when I was heavily into paintball. It was the sound my SMG-60 would make. Also came from a character in the movie Summer School. And it sounded mean. ;-)
13 is my lucky number. Was the my jersey number in baseball and hockey.

I actually had the user name icehog3 on a hockey forum years before the Rockford Icehogs came into existance....but I did steal their logo, and Jeof personalized it for me. ice = hockey (I play and am a huge fan) hog = Harleys, and my job (cop) 3 = My hockey number icehog3
