Re: Any sympathy for South Florida?
Well, here it is.
Getting down close to 60 already. Overnight low to hit around 42. I hope things don't frost up all over the place and I hope we don't get sleet and snow. OOps. Forgot. That would be at 32.

Re: Any sympathy for South Florida?
I got sympathy for ya! Dropped into the 60s here the other night, had to close the windows and break out the flannels and extra blankets. Highs are only in the 70's. All the snowbirds laugh at me cause I sit outside at work with a jacket on when it is 78* at 3 in the afternoon!

Re: Any sympathy for South Florida?
It is freaking freezing outside.
We are at 43. I assure you, for us very, very warm blooded South Floridans, that hurts all the way to the bone. Just checked the Boca Raton Beach cam and it seems folks are there at the beach. Must be tourists from up in the cold parts. http://evsboca.netfirms.com/default.htm

Re: Any sympathy for South Florida?
In between passing my kidney stone last night, I was freezing inside the house. Tried turning on the heat. Don't know if my mind was a mess from the pain and I couldn't think straight but heck if I could figure out how to turn on the heat.

Re: Any sympathy for South Florida?
It was weird last week. I drove right up to a parking spot on freezing South Beach, got a table out front at News Cafe, and the only one I tripped over on the beach was a homeless person.
I wish I could report that a suprmodel gave me a lingering look, but that would be a lie.
