Default For those in need of a new cooler

After the event yesterday I stopped at my local Walmart and picked up this sucker on the bottom, check out the price.

So check your Walmart, I also called Meijer on the way home and they wanted $80 for the same one.

Now to season this thing and fill 'er up.

So tell me, what do you do to "season" a cooler?
To the best of my knowledge, plastic does not season.

Kind of curious myself. I have four of them, all I've ever done was wash them out, and sometimes leave them out in the sun for a day with the lid open to allow the plastic smell to dissipate. Mebbie I'ma missin' somthang...

Oh yeah guys... I season my coolers for days. I like to coat the bottom in red gatoraid and brick dust to simulate Spanish cedar. Really makes your stick taste good...

Seasoning it by washing it out with baking soda and leaving it in the sun for a few days right?? That's what I thought? Am I missing something?

That's call "washing".

"Seasoning" is a process that can take up to two weeks, while waiting for the "wood" in a humidor to absorb enough moisture that it will self regulate your cigars when a humidification device is added.
