For those in need of a new cooler

After the event yesterday I stopped at my local Walmart and picked up this sucker on the bottom, check out the price.

So check your Walmart, I also called Meijer on the way home and they wanted $80 for the same one.

Now to season this thing and fill 'er up.

So tell me, what do you do to "season" a cooler?
To the best of my knowledge, plastic does not season.

Kind of curious myself. I have four of them, all I've ever done was wash them out, and sometimes leave them out in the sun for a day with the lid open to allow the plastic smell to dissipate. Mebbie I'ma missin' somthang...

Oh yeah guys... I season my coolers for days. I like to coat the bottom in red gatoraid and brick dust to simulate Spanish cedar. Really makes your stick taste good... ;)

Seasoning it by washing it out with baking soda and leaving it in the sun for a few days right?? That's what I thought? Am I missing something? :sh

That's call "washing". :bh

"Seasoning" is a process that can take up to two weeks, while waiting for the "wood" in a humidor to absorb enough moisture that it will self regulate your cigars when a humidification device is added. :sh
