This cigar was gifted to me by Pinar Del Rio Owner & Blender, Abraham Flores (rahbass)!!!
I do not presume to know very much about this cigar such as blends. I can only assume it is blended like the Oscuro and Sun Grown versions with both Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler tobaccos. Country: Dominican Republic Length/Ring: 6 x 50 Shape: Toro Wrapper: Natural Strength: Mild I am happy Abe sent me a fiver of these to enjoy and review! The construction of this cigar is very nice, well-crafted, with a smooth Connecticut wrapper and an easy pre draw. ![]() Upon toasting I got a nice strong hay like flavor. The flavor quickly changed to toasted bread. The white smoke pours out of the cigar. The draw is so easy the cigar almost smokes itself. ![]() About a third of the way in I noticed a hint of almond and cinnamon. The hay flavor has not returned. ![]() I cannot believe the amount of smoke this cigar gives off. I smoked this indoors one evening and had to open a door to let the aromatic white smoke clear the garage. ![]() The toasted bread flavor is more predominate now with hints of a cinnamon like spice (not overwhelming at all). This is a very mild cigar. I normally will smoke a mild cigar with a cup of coffee in the morning and reserve the medium to strong for the evening. The next Classico I smoke will be in the morning with a cup of coffee!!! Perfect!!! ![]() Total smoke time took 1 hour and 45 minutes. Construction/Appearance: 8 out of 10 Flavor Balance: 6.5 out of 10 Strength: Mild Over all experience: 7 out of 10 Value: This was gifted but I would expect to pay around $6.00 per stick Would I smoke it again? Yes!!! Thanks Abe for allowing me to try this difficult to come by cigar!!! Keep up the good work!!!
