Seems to me the effect is the same at this point - he said he emailed them a problem and that they responded in such a manner to "render him speechless". The obvious implication is that Ashton went overboard in response to his complaint. I don't see how witholding the specifics will prevent other less deserving consumers from floating a few complaints Ashton's way.
