Re: Ask The Rabbi!!

Violence is tolerated in self-defense, and in many cases it is in-fact a Mitzvah, positive commandment.

Here's a great quote from the wisest of all men, King Solomon in Ecclesiastes:

Re: Ask The Rabbi!!

The Jewish faith forbids intermarriage in all its forms.

Being born to a Jewish mother, who was in turn, born to a Jewish mother etc. etc., is what qualifies a person as "Jewish".
Children...

Re: Ask The Rabbi!!

Typically we do not fast except for the prescibed days.
The fast is either 25 hrs or starts from the morning until evening (when 3 stars appear in the sky), depending on which fast day.

Here's...

What have you replaced the ol' standby or ol' great smoke with?

(a lot will probably say CC's, but besides that...)

Re: Cigar you smoked a lot of but now ignore?

Truth be told...

I don't know why I don't smoke them, I guess DPG and Illusione have my wallet at that price point.

Re: Illusione M7

I usually smoke a cigar on Jewish fast days (except Yom Kippur). I really don't mind fasting so much.
They quench the appetite, relax me and give a little pick-me-up, a stimulant...

Re: Illusione M7

The mj12 is phenomenal. I smoked one while fasting and it left my palate fresh, great long finish, delicious smooth, furry(?) wrapper, great flavors. Smoked another after I ate, phenomenal smoke!
