Re: All over $4
I feel bad for both of them. The restaurant owner is being treated very unfairly by this guy. I also feel bad for this guy complaining. He must not be happy. Ever. I wouldn't want to have that...

Re: Popcorn Popper Coffee Roasters & Grinders...
Always Burr grinder. I have a Breville smart grinder. It definitely ain't the best out there, but I got a steal on it (109.xx IIRC)
Works great for me, but I'm all about French Press brewing.
I...

Re: Dry cigars can make you ill?
Yes, I keep sugar packets at home for this reason. Nicotine can cause a drop in blood sugar, giving you the nauseated feeling. I just take a packet of sugar, dump it on my tongue, and press my...

Re: Davidoff
I agree with AVO. I was actually going to say to just buy AVO and be done with it, but I didn't because different taste buds.

Re: Dry cigars can make you ill?
I've never had a dry cigar make me sick. I also prefer my cigars around 60-65%RH/65ºF.
I have gotten green from tobacco containing a lot of nicotine.

Re: My apologies
MMMMMmmmmm... backstraps :dr
I know the question wasn't directed at me. But some friends filled their tags, and that is my favorite part.
Good to see you back, Rev.

Re: Butane sage wisdom?
I'm guessing you mean me?
You could very well be correct. I read it a long time ago, and since changing my filling strategy, I've never had a lighter issue. So I've stuck with the method because...

Re: Butane sage wisdom?
I find it's more about HOW you fill it, than the number of times the fuel has been refined.

Re: Wristwatch collectors out there?
I'm a huge Patek fan. I'd never be able to actually OWN one, but their designs are striking.
If I were me, I'd need a smaller format to fit under the suit coat, though. And I'd go for older...

Re: cutters or punch?
I just use this. Yes, it's cheap. Yes, I also carve sticks into marshmallow toasters with it. But my grandpa had the same knife, my dad has always carried one, and so have I. Simple Buck folding...

Re: My first humidor was ....
My first one was a birthday gift from my current girlfriend. Which is awesome, because it's HER fault I now have a fully stocked wineador. She tried to give me sh*t when I got the custom solid cherry...
