Re: Your most valued/rare cigar is......?

Most valued cigar? The one I just got done smoking. Because what's a cigar's value if you never enjoy it? :)

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

Here's the one that I was told works very well. You need to know what model your knockoff is to know what color (IE fitting size) you need. Mine (Ligne 2) takes a gold adapter.

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

Mine did not come color coded for a bottle, but we figured out it would accept a gold refill can.

However, I fill mine perfectly fine using a small brass adapter a friend has. It's just a tapered...

Re: wedding suggestions

Well...personally at this point I would be staying away from anything that came from a certain island. After 8 years of even the best kept storage conditions, some of mine I picked up in Canada are...

Re: How tolerant are you? And can you live with out it?

I used to run a B&M, so whatever lack of tolerance I may have had, I certainly built it up quickly :) I think I peaked at around 4-5 sticks a day.

Some things I've noticed over 10 years about my...

Re: Padilla Cuts Cigar Brands, Reworks Company

Here's the article about it: http://www.cigaraficionado.com/webfeatures/show/id/16544

Anyway, personally I really liked most Padillas I smoke. The brown label Miami aged very well and the...

Re: How Old Are You?

Ok...I know what the first image is, I own several for my vintage collections.

What the hell are the balls?

Re: looking for a good online store

That "age verification" thing is a joke to scare away timid would-be minors. I don't know a single person who has ever been stopped by that "feature," and I have known plenty who were in your exact...

Re: Senior Pranks

Well, it might be. Depends (no pun intended) on if you can remember your senior prank or not :)

Re: Senior Pranks

We did that when I was a senior. Took the tires off, left it on blocks with the keys and tires locked inside.

Also welded the teacher's parking lot gate closed with some heavy gauge wire (easy for...

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

Well, it arrived looking all nice and pretty.

There are three dead giveaways it's a knockoff...the serial is too neat, there isn't a color ring inside the fill screw, and it's a single flame...

Re: Anyone have an insurance protection plan for their iPhone?

One thing I never understood about Apple was the tendency to make things incredibly sleek and aesthetically pleasing, but so fragile that the average person is almost guaranteed to buy a protective...

Re: Knocked Out!!!

Hasn't happened to me in a long time, but I learned after the first two or three times what the warning signs were and how to dodge them :)

Re: Famous Nic 3000

Sounds good enough to me, thanks Cigahs. I'll probably have to bust for a bundle or two and see how they smoke.

I really forgot how good those were until I found those old ones. Maybe I'll sit on...

Famous Nic 3000

So I dug out a few of these from the bottom of my cooler recently. They're at least 6 years old (the last time I ordered from Famous), and they're still every bit as good as I can remember.

Does...

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

I actually ended up getting mine on iOffer.com. They function basically as a haggling market, you make an offer based on the list price, the seller makes a counter offer or accepts yours, etc etc.

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

I'll post some pictures as soon as it arrives. I went cheap on the shipping, basic postal service from China will probably take around 4 weeks to arrive, so I should hopefully see it sometime in the...

Re: Considreing a Sling Box...

I don't own a SlingBox, so I can't comment on those.

I DO own a Vulcano (same concept, different company) that I really like. I opted for the Vulcano specifically for the fact that the PC software...

Re: Random Question About Lighters

I actually have to stand up and defend Colibri at this point, strange as it may seem.

The company went through several changes of hands in the last 15 years before the current company as it is...

Re: San Lotano Oval: Natural or Maduro?

I don't know why, but neither of these cigars did it for me. Honestly I kept looking for something other than dry earth and couldn't find it. Granted I smoked them within a week of them showing up,...

Re: Youth Sports, Winning, Losing, Comp/Travel Leagues...

When I was a kid playing rec sports, we knew if we won or lost, it was that simple. This whole "no one is a loser" thing is, in my opinion, detrimental to early development. Not learning to shoulder...

Re: S.T. Dupont "replicas"

I did in fact order one from iOffer last week. Waiting for it to arrive from China (so you know it's a phony with a capital "P").

I went into pure panic mode a couple days ago. I went looking for...
