Re: Adding Water Directly to Beads

I do what you've described - I dump a cap full of water directly on the beads. I've been doing it for years and have never had a problem. They work just fine and seem to remain intact. I'm talking...

Re: Padron cigars

I'd say it was no more than a year ago that CI was selling boxes of 25 or 26.

Re: What beers are you enjoying?

Had a Sam Adams chocolate bock from a winter sampler pack. It was pretty good.

Re: College Football Countdown!

I don't know what it means either, but at least we got to enjoy a Saturday for the first time in a month. I think if they win next week and show well against Wisconsin and OSU, he's back with a...

Re: Cohiba Black...anyone familiar?

Had one when they first came out several years ago - didn't think it was anything noteworthy or worth the price. For perspective, I think the red dots tend to be overpriced as well.

Re: Just stumbled upon Five Guys

I think it's great. I stopped by a couple weeks ago and grabbed a burger and fries. I don't remember what I paid, but it didn't strike me as out of line for what I got. The large fry was HUGE and...

Re: College Football Countdown!

I wouldn't jump to that conclusion just yet. As a Michigan fan, I can tell you our defense is historically bad. We make every quarterback we face look like a Heisman candidate. Indiana lit us up. ...

Re: WTF is wrong with people?

I'm a little removed from 1st year criminal law at this point, but I don't think that's correct. As far as I recall, if there is a battery, the assault merges into it. Sort of like an attempted...

Re: Midwest Storms

I've been utterly unimpressed so far...a little bit of rain and that's it. Haven't heard a clap of thunder and the wind is minimal. The radar I'm looking at says I'm in the middle of it now.

Re: What are good watch brands *not uber expensive*

My wife bought me a watch from Kenneth Cole - I've had it for about 6 years now - it is a really nice watch and she paid about $150 for it. I still get complimented on it regularly.

Re: Chile Miners

When I saw that, I thought to myself that they'd just have to leave my butt down there until they could widen it out. If I could fit through it, I'd freak out from the tight space. Of course, that...

Re: Halloween...I can't believe I still take part in this

I went as a chick magnet a few years ago - I took my sisters' barbies from my parents' basement and pinned them to a sweatshirt. It was money and really easy.

Re: Cigars in freezer for years

Looks like we had the same experience. I find this very interesting. I know it has to halt the aging process in its tracks, but that could have some merit with certain cigars.

Re: Cigars in freezer for years

Well my curiousity got the best of me and I sparked one last night. I didn't have time to smoke the whole thing, but I smoked about half of it. I didn't notice any problems at all. It smoked...

Re: Cigars in freezer for years

The bag and the plastic wrap on the box definitely have that freezer smell. I don't think the box and cigars do, but I'm still in my office with the bag and plastic wrap, so I'll need to smell them...

Re: Cigars in freezer for years

Not that I can see, but I didn't ask. I didn't want to grill him too hard. I'll bring a few with me if I'm able to make it tomorrow to the herf for inspection and burning.

Walked right into...

Cigars in freezer for years

So I arrived to work today to find a box of unopened H. Upmann dominicans on my desk chair. A friend of mine at work who gave up the hobby a while ago said he found them in the back of his freezer,...

Re: What is your favorite padron cigar and why?

I always keep the 3000 maduro on hand as a regular smoke. I prefer the 64 maduro in the anniversary line. I can't remember what vitola.

Re: Detroit 187

I heard that too - I guess we'll see. I know the reason they went away from the documentary style was because of a little girl that was killed here during a raid that was being filmed for a cop show...

Re: Detroit 187

I like it too, but even if I didn't, I told my wife I feel some obligation to keep it on to do my part to keep it going. The more money in this area, the better.

I do wish they would stop the...

Re: 601 Blue reblend?

Thanks, I'll check that forum out.

Rocky said in the video link I posted that the red was changing, but that the blue and green were not.

601 Blue reblend?

I stopped in a local B&M yesterday to pick up a couple 601 blue lables, as I was considering buying a box and wanted to smoke a couple more before committing. They were cleaned out. I asked the guy...
