Undercrown - First Impressions
Got my box of Undercrown Gran Toro's on Saturday:
http://www.cigarpass.com/forums/uplo..._604_77474.jpg Smoked one on Sunday afternoon, enjoying the remaining good weather here in the Pacific Northwest. I have really enjoyed both the Liga Privada #9 and the T52 so I was very anxious to try these. Lots of chatter on these, here are some of my first thoughts:
I'm going to have another tonight and try to elucidate my thoughts better. What more can I say other than I think Drew Estate hit this one out of the park. Easy to recommend buying one and finding out for yourself what you think....it is really a good one....:tu Cheers, guys - N.F.H. |

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
I smoked on last night that I bought at a local B&M and it was hard to keep lit. I think the humidity was kept too high there and it needed to sit a while but I just couldn't help myself. The draw started off good, then got really hard to get any smoke, then improved a bit but started to go out quickly. The good news is that I absolutely loved the flavors I was getting. Very sweet in my opinion. I will definitely be buying more and letting them get some rest. If that fixes the burn issues I had, which I'm pretty sure it will, the Undercrown will have plenty of space in my humi. Can't wait to hear your follow up as far as the flavor profile.

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
Can't wait to try an Undercrown; hoping it will be a cheaper substitue for my constant Liga Privada cravings.

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
Got 2 resting in the humi, trying to resist the urge for a couple of weeks. Might go back to the B&M and get another to smoke right there and decide if I want to buy more.

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
I loved the robusto I smoked last night. Some minor burn issues but loved the flavor profile.

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
Smoked my first one this past Sunday and I was really digging it! I will be searching out more of these smokes for sure! Having recently tried my first
LP9 I wasn't sure what to expect from the Undercrown but it definately delivered on expectations! Much like you stated, I too had a hard time defining the flavors....but I know one thing, I LOVED THEM! Great smoke!:tu |

A good cigar that gets better the further you smoke into. Something that is worth trying if you run across them.

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
What is the price point on these?

Re: Undercrown - First Impressions
