Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
It seems like the rumors about foil wrapped T 110's are true! Pete had 40 boxes of T 110's, and the boxes too... but there were no bands. Tatuaje decided to wrap the bundles in foil, as opposed to the original release paper wrapping. Also, the foiled release has an additional Fleur de Lis in red on white on a sticker added to the box., the Originals do not. I have not had the chance to light one up yet, however they smell exactly like the original release.
Take a look : Original Release on the left, Foiled Release on right. http://i971.photobucket.com/albums/a...jeT110s009.jpg Foiled Release bundle. http://i971.photobucket.com/albums/a...jeT110s006.jpg Original Release July '09. http://i971.photobucket.com/albums/a...jeT110s008.jpg Foiled release Feb.'10. http://i971.photobucket.com/albums/a...jeT110s007.jpg |

Smoke a couple back to back and let me know the difference :)

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
They look so much nicer with the paper than with the foil wrap. However, that does not really matter. As long as they taste identical or better than the original one's, you are good to go.

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
Are the wrappers the same as the originals or the recent releases?

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
Foil wrapped = excellent long term aging.... just sayin' ;)

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
I hate these threads, but that's just my jealousy talking. J/K:D Nice pickup. They look just as tasty as the banded version.

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
One would think the foil would be better for long term storage, but not as attractive

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
To the cigar enthusiast who prefers well aged and vintage cigars......its sexy as hell :tu

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
I don't mind the foil, and the bans are nice, but somehow an unbanded cigar is kind of cool. It's like you're in on a secret. If that makes any sense.

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
I like the presentation. Great looking cigars too! :tu

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
Well the aging thing only works if you don't rip the foil open like a kid on christmas. :D

I got an email from Marvin offering me a box last week, I wish could afford to pick it up :( |
Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
When I originally heard about them being foil wrapped, I was thinking idividually wrapped ala' Illusione ~mj12~, not the bundle wrapped.:)

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
I barely ever smoke NC's but if given the chance I would pick up a box of the foil wrapped, just to put 'em down and see how they smoked after many years.

Re: Foil Wrapped T 110's!!!
Aaaaaaaargh...I've had 4 boxes go through my hands and the only ones that looked identical were the ones that came after the initial release. I guess I'll have to pull the trigger on a fifth and see what luck brings me...lol. I hate threads like this... :bh
