The Mustang has always been my dream car, and always will. When I have some money I'd like to purchase 90-91 GT as a fun little project car :D

1/4, my fastest to date is a 12.88 @ 112 but with that trap speed i should be high 11's low 12's. I just have to learn to launch better. 2+ second 60's suck |

Auto or 5spd? Mustangs are real easy to launch just take some practice as launching on a strip is different then the street... um so i'm told >_> You also don't have to worry about a rear grenadeing.. like I do. |

Re: for car guys out there.
Well weight plays a big factor on trap speed, as well as your 60 foot. My friends honda civic traps high 120s but is barely out of the 12s thing spins non stop, but that's what you get for being a front wheel drive car lol.
If you can drive the hell out of the car you can trap lower with a faster ET. But that's really kinda dumbed down. For example same friend on street tires traps mid 110s and ET is mid 13. While my camaro is 107 12.8 I'm out driving him, I also have RWD to help me. |

The solid axle and weight advantage is in your favor compared to a Cobra, so you could probably expect consistent mid-12s, but I don't think you'll get into the 11s without considerably more HP. What're you running for tires? Do you have any traction mods? |
