Padilla 1932 Help
I need your wisdom please....
I bought these Padilla 1932 Toro's and I was told that these may be rare. I know these were made back in 2007 and it is a Padilla/Pepin blend. I was told that these may be rare because they are in a 13ct box. Does anyone know the truth about this? Here are some pics: |

Rarity or difficult to find does not imply any added value when production runs are in the hundreds of thousands. Quite tasty smokes and no reason to save them for a rainy day.

Yeah, I wasn't thinking that they would have any added value, just maybe that they were for a certain retailer or something....

Re: Padilla 1932 Help
Looks like those where made in Miami according to the box and I know that not all 32s where made in Miami. So maybe that has something to do with them being special. Either way it is a great blend so enjoy!

Re: Padilla 1932 Help
If memory serves me correct, the Pepin made 1932's came with cello on and the "After Pepin's" had no cello. Correct me if I am wrong because it could be exactly the other way around, lol.

The only way I know to distinguish between the two are by the bands. Those happen to be the old bands (Pepin), at least that's my understanding. The newer ones don't have the "Padilla" in that larger orange font, instead their in a much thinner gold font. |

Re: Padilla 1932 Help
I just asked the Padilla rep. He said he has never seen a 13 count box. He has been with the company for several years.

As far as cello goes the Pepin ones did not have cello either. Script writing is the new ones the writing in Dans pic is the old (Pepin) one.

The Pepin blended 1932 corona gordas are one of my hands down favorite NC sticks.

I got a box of Padilla Miamis at the same time because they were all the rage, and they stand as the worst cigar I've ever smoked.
